Why Skill Level

In order to create a competitive environment within the club and boost the interest of all level of players, The club maintain a Player Skill Level based on individual player’s Badminton skills.

Skill Level Assessment Coordinators is responsible to establish the rules regulation of Skill System and to educate individual players and help them to increase their game level 

This Skill level be used to direct how players will be matched in the individual sessions and tournaments.

Level Distribution

We have 3 different levels Intermediate, advance and Competitive.

Upon Registration you will be assigned a level

Returning members will retain their previous levels

Assessment

For new Members, upon Registration Technical team member will assess the level of the players Returning members will retain their previous levels

Challenge System

A system to regulate skill levels throughout the term. All promotions and demotions are based on number of games won during a challenge match.

All members have a fair opportunity to request a challenge and likewise, players chosen by challenger need to participate in challenge match

Request a Challenge Match

  1. Member will request the challenge match to any member of Skill Level Assessment Coordinators
  2. Skill Level Assessment Coordinators will setup the challenge match with challenger and the target player
  3. Members shall only challenge to one level above their current level.
  4. The match will be Single format only
  5. Match will consist of 2 games with 15 points each (cap at 15 points for deuce) 
  6. Winner will determine by total cumulative points in both games
  7. A player can only challenge twice a year
  8. A Player can not challenge same players more than once in a year
  9. In case challenger wins the game he will get promotion and looser will get demotion
  10. In case of any conflict Skill Level Assessment Coordinators decision will be final
